STRATEGIC PLAN

In 2009, SATA established the Advanced Technology Strategy Committee to coordinate the creation of a Strategic Plan.  The Committee's role was to ensure that all stakeholders were engaged in the planning, organizing, execution and follow-up stages of the planning process.

The Objective of the Plan - To support the doubling of the rate of growth of the advanced technology industry in Saskatchewan over a four year period.

Following several months of meeting, the committee identified 10 industry development strategies.  From that information, a survey of the membership and other industry stakeholders was completed in May 2010.  Respondents were asked to rank the importance of each of the strategies based on its importance to the Saskatchewan advanced technology industry.

The survey results and comments will now be used to develop an action plan based on the key strategies that will ultimately help us achieve our objective of doubling the rate of growth within our industry.
